Additional Camp News

Checking campground for escape routes.

Poor kid, longing for a dog of his own.

Miri and Marin.

Why haven't I slept in three days? What happened to The Schedule? We're skipping naps for this, you know. Crazy people.

Run, run! Time for a...

...hay rack ride!

She'd rather ponder the lily pads.

This was the hay rack ride. Isaiah's favorite part of the trip to Michigan. Can't you tell?

And that's what it's like to go home after a great vacation.

Unless you're Miriam.

You should know that we sighted 37 states while playing the License Plate Game. Can't blame a Hawaiian for not driving to the Midwest.

And finally, I am compelled to confess that as we drove into camp, I backed into a tree. On day two somebody scraped our van right along a picnic table, but I won't tell you who that was. My point: not only is the van the greatest thing to happen to the family road trip, it's also indestructible. Thankfully, in spite of our new-driver type behavior, not a scratch or a dent to be found.
