A smoked turkey leg to feed a family of four
The kids lived up their first state fair this year. It's been moved from Lincoln to Grand Island - a perfectly convenient location. The experience included a birthing pavilion with dozens of newborn farm animals, a (nearly funny) lumberjack show that made Isaiah giggle, enormous cups of fresh lemonade, a roller coaster for the boys, lovely weather, and a journey across half of Nebraska to find the horse barn (which was empty.) I do ♥ Utah, but this place can drum up a fair.
