Delayed celebration

First day of VBS today & all that.

The friend who coordinated meals this week for VBS set up a "romantic corner" for us. Lace tablecloth, flowers & candles on a school lunch table. Of course we ate at separate times. This happened after we moved a 20' metal rowboat from the school gym, down three hallways (and around three corners), then slid it up half a flight of stairs into the fellowship hall. Boy do we know how to celebrate. I blame it all on the frozen cheesecake - kind of starts a couple out on the wrong foot.

So this year's anniversary will be given a do-over. We'll celebrate our 7 years with a bit of fanfare on June 18. 

If I was as with-it as those other Gaunts, I'd have a digital copy of a wedding photo. Here's all you need to know to picture it: baby versions of us, dressed up in fancy black & white, remarkably tan skin, big ol' grins.

I didn't mean to, but I'm sure I exaggerated the boat's size. Probably 12-15'. That's way different than 20'.
