Nature lesson

It was gorgeous out of doors today, so we traded puzzle time for chalk drawings and t-ball. The kids were doing what kids do - getting bored with "structured" activity - and started yelling at the local ground cover. Rocks, leaves, the hole where our 2010 garter snake lived. Which morphed into a discussion about hibernation. All this begged Isaiah's question, "So, do snakes sleep really hard or something?"
