It's beginning to look a lot...

You know the rest.

My point? Christmas pictures are coming soon! Miriam is rumored to have found a lovely green polka-dotted frock, and Isaiah some smashing red argyle. Mom will be photographing - as always - and will likely have her hair all askew and slimy graham crackers ground into the legs of her jeans. Dad, well he always looks great, and so may find himself in a picture or two. Sneaky, sneaky.

Am also trying to capture Isaiah's version of "Go Tell It On the Mountain (over in the hills and everywhere...)" Stay tuned.

Which brings me 'round to the wishlist.

Isaiah is in 4T, and closing in on 5T for his top half. (Got to keep that long belly covered, you know?) He's pining for a kid-sized soccer ball, Lincoln Logs, anything from the Imaginext line (the dinos or pirates), 3-yr-old friendly artillery, and a pair of fuzzy slippers (size 10-11). Any of the Mo Willems Elephant and Piggy books and Hot Wheels are always a big hit, too.

Miriam grows tired of playing with toys made for boys. If she could speak, she would say that she longs for a doll, the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn tea set, a pretty bath towel, and a few well-illustrated fairy tales. She is sporting 12 month clothes without flinching, on the brink of 18 month sizes. She could really use a pair of brown boots - western or snow style - in size 3.

For the family at large, I would really like to have from CPH: A Child's Book of Prayers and the pewter advent wreath.

Nathan and I are agreed. Our wishlist is pretty non-existant. I'd like a copy of the new Barbara Kingsolver novel (I'm just assuming it's fantastic here) and Nathan's practice wardrobe could use some sprucing up again. And that's stretching it a bit.

I, for one, am thankful to have fall behind us. Ready for the joy and anticipation of the advent season. You?
